The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Birch Dark Pewter is a reimagined version of the Gel-Kayano 14, drawing inspiration from the technical running shoes of the early 2000s.
Unlike its predecessors, the “Birch Dark Pewter” version features a sustainably dyed sockliner. This dyeing process uses 35 percent less water and reduces carbon emissions by up to 45 percent. The breathable mesh upper is finished in Birch, while the synthetic leather overlays are finished in Dark Pewter with a metallic sheen. Like the original Gel-Kayano, this version features responsive gel cushioning in the thick midsole. The shoe also features ASICS’ signature TRUSSTIC support system and a front lace closure. ASICS branding is featured on the tongue, heel, and insole.
