Originally released in 1985 and banned by the NBA, the black and red design symbolizes rebellion and style. For its 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand offers a meticulously crafted, updated edition that returns to the original style with premium leather construction and unmistakable color blocking.
With a slightly taller build and a larger, slimmer Swoosh than the latest retro shoes, this pair is as close to the 1985 version as you can get. The black leather base is accented with a red-toned, university red upper and a clean white midsole, while other features include a rubber outsole for durability, extra lacing and nostalgic lettering. Each pair is packaged in the original style box, completing the retro experience for collectors and fans alike.
