The Air Jordan 1 “Not For Resale - Red” was released in 2018 as a special edition of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. The Jordan 1 features graphic messages throughout the shoe that encourage users to wear their pair. In a tongue-in-cheek response to sneaker culture trends, the shoe features text on the upper and midsole, including “NOT FOR RESALE,” “NO PHOTOS,” “PLEASE CREASE,” and “WEAR ME.” The interior of the Air Jordan 1 features more messages, including “GENERAL RELEASE” and “NO L’s.” The Air Jordan 1 “Not For Resale - Red” features a black, white, and red leather upper reminiscent of the OG colorways of the legendary model.
